In 2010, KereKere grew up and we dared to dream. We negotiated with the University of Melbourne to launch a purpose built Kiosk with plumbing, heating and weather protection next to the Old Engineering building. It was an early developmental phase for KereKere so some structural changes were required. We changed our Cause system to monthly $1000 donations to Health, Environmental, Social or Cultural Causes and refocused our youth training to ongoing youth employment. We started testing out a range of community celebrations ideas and launched the inaugural KereKere Day.
