Hi, I'm James Oswald Murphy

Oswald + Co is a community-spirited practice, and we've been on a mission to turn transactions into exchanges since 2007.

Transactions leave people apart. Exchanges bring them together. My philosophy is simple, when you give and receive without expectation, it creates a gift tie, an imbalance that can only be resolved by bringing people together.

I work with teams and leaders to create environments where everyone feels welcome, can participate, and has ownership. I do this by leading with generosity, earning trust one cup at a time, moving toward what's difficult, and connecting on a human scale. Real connection happens where things are hard.

My practice honors my grandparents, Oswald Clarence Murphy and Harold Oswald Schnelle, who built businesses in rural Australia with hard work, fair values, and passion for their communities.
